Celebrating 35 Years of Service

After 35 years of collective service to Operation New Hope and our community, we extend our deepest thanks to both Cynthia Dean and Desiree Foster and wish them well as they transition to retirement. Their generous giving and willingness to give hope and opportunities to others has changed not only our organization, but our community as well.

Cynthia Dean joined the team in 2007 and provided years of support to many clients as a dedicated case manager. Through her empathic care and committed professionalism, she made a significant impact in the lives of hundreds of people and their families, helping them “unblock their blessings” as she so beautifully says. For that and so much more, we are forever grateful.

Desiree Foster began volunteering for Operation New Hope in 2000 and then joined the staff as an employee in 2010. Without her dedication, hard work, and heart given in support of our mission over the past 21 years, we would not have been able to serve over 8,000 clients. She helped families get the hands-on support they would not have received elsewhere.

Last week, we celebrated both of these wonderful women with a retirement party. Surrounded by good food and great friends and family, we honored their years of service and shared memories of the impact they have made on each of us.

On behalf of the team at Operation New Hope, we want to thank you again for your years of service. Thank you for believing in our community and our clients. Thank you for helping us rebuild stable families, strong economies, and safe communities. As you embark on your new journey of retirement, know that you have left an indelible mark on each of our hearts, thousands of Operation New Hope clients, and our entire community.

If Ms. Dean and Ms. Desiree made an impact in your life, please join us in thanking them and wishing them well as they retire. Thank you!
