Joining us at last week’s Ready4Work client graduation at our new St. Johns County program location, Todd Grant, the Public Works Deputy Director at City of St. Augustine, stated he is a big believer in second chances.
“For this program, it’s obvious the participant has made a choice to change their lives and I want to embrace that!” Mr. Grant told the class.
He also brought along job applications for all of the open positions in his department and encouraged all the Ready4Work clients to apply. “What I’m promoting here through this program is that any graduate or prospective graduate applying for a job – I want to know about it – I want to interview that person.”
Operation New Hope is pleased to showcase our partnership with the City of St. Augustine and we are so thankful for their support of our new Ready4Work program location serving St. Johns County.
