Peter O’Brien is a Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2001 Peter enjoyed a successful career undertaking numerous roles with Barclays PLC in London, New York and Manchester. He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations from the Investments and Wealth Institute, and he is also a Certified Financial Planner. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Henley Management College.

Peter was introduced to the work of Operation New Hope through Kevin Gay, his 2015 Leadership Jacksonville classmate, and his involvement parallels working with organizations over many years across a wide spectrum of social issues. He was Board Chair from January 2019 to January 2022. He also sits on the Leadership Council of UF Health Jacksonville. He has also served on the Boards of the Cathedral Arts Project, Jacksonville Community Council Inc (“JCCI”), the Cathedral Arts Project, Opera Jax, the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center and Palmer Catholic Academy.
