Walette Stanford serves as the Ethics Director/Officer at JEA. She serves as a consultant to all levels of management on ethics and compliance related issues, seeks to develop integrated solutions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the objectives of the organization.
She previously served as Director of Emerging Workforce Strategies where she controlled a $1M operating budget, where she worked to Implement strategies to promote a diversified workforce. She has 20 years of management experience in the utility, insurance, and telecommunication industries.
Walette has earned the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida. Other certifications include Master Certified Life Coach, Six Sigma Green Belt and SHRM Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management.
She volunteers on several not-for-profit boards and civic organizations in the community such as ElderSource, Alpha Clay Pearls Foundation, Society of Human Resource Management (Jacksonville Chapter) and the American Association of Blacks in Energy (Florida Chapter) among others.
She earned her Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and undergraduate degree in Marketing from Florida State University.
Walette resides in Jacksonville with her husband and has two adult sons.
