Gretchen Hamm, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, serves as the Vice President of Compliance at Operation New Hope. Working to build better programs, evaluate new business opportunities and explore expansion into new markets, Gretchen develops effective and innovative policies and procedures, assists with staff training and development, and directs quality improvement plans at Operation New Hope.
Gretchen is a native Texan having graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies. She moved to Florida in order to diversify her education and obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida. She has been working in the field of mental health for 20 years in various settings including juvenile detention centers and outpatient community programs. She has worked with various populations including children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring mental health and addiction issues. Her clinical and operations management background provides a broad knowledge base.
Gretchen enjoys traveling to visit family and friends and likes to explore new places. She loves the beach, reading and challenging herself to complete 5Ks.
We provide support, life and job skills training for people affected by the criminal justice system and place them in employment that offers a sustainable quality of life.
