Melani Albritton joined Operation New Hope as an intern with the organization in 2009. She has worked her way up the ranks from Intake Specialist to Youth Development Specialist to Supervisor of Recruitment and Intake to Workforce Development Director. Now as the Quality Assurance Director, Melani supports programmatic operations through continuous review and analysis of all departments for improvements and compliance. She is responsible for creating technology driven solutions, process improvements, and procedure documentation for all program sites.
With over 11 years of experience working with our formerly incarcerated and underserved population, Melani has excellent leadership and training skills. She is able to manage multi-faceted tasks simultaneously without compromising quality. She is decisive, yet flexible in responding to the changing organizational needs.
Melani earned her BA in Psychology from Edward Waters College and her Master of Public Administration with a concentration on Public and Nonprofit Management from Liberty University. She has two sons and spends her free time making memories with her family. She absolutely loves 90’s R&B.
We provide support, life and job skills training for people affected by the criminal justice system and place them in employment that offers a sustainable quality of life.
