National Night Out
- 1:00 pm - 1:00 pm
- 4517 Washington Ave.
National Night Out (NNO) is America’s night to give crime and drugs a going away party.
National Night Out began in 1984 as an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Since Operation New Hope is new to the neighborhood, we wanted everyone to know that the training and support we provide is helping to break the cycle of crime, incarceration, poverty and addiction.
The Orlando Police Department encourages everyone to turn on their porch light and join their neighbors outside to show they are united against crime and drugs. We hope you will join us at our newest program location – Ready4Work Central Florida – for a great night of fun and community building.
