Mulligans for Hope 2022 Exceeds Expectations

Operation New Hope’s 2nd annual Mulligans for Hope Golf Tournament was a huge success! Over 100 golfers and volunteers enjoyed a beautiful day at Atlantic Beach Country Club while raising funds in support of second chances. We are thrilled to report that we raised over $128,000 during this year’s tournament to provide workforce training, mental health services, and job placement for people impacted by the criminal justice system.

“We are so thankful for the generous support of our event sponsors and golfers who generously donated today,” stated President and CEO Reggie Fullwood. “We would like to extend a special thanks to our major sponsors Jacksonville Jaguars, Miller Electric Company, and The Players and to our key Employment Partners who supported today’s event – Flying W Plastics, Bono’s BBQ, Miller Electric, Novolex, Crown, Strings, and Bozard Ford. Thank you for offering others a mulligan at life!”

For over 20 years, Operation New Hope has worked to build a stronger community by creating opportunities for people with a criminal history to realize second chances by reconnecting to the workforce and their families. We are in the business of giving people mulligans. Like in golf, the practice of granting a mulligan is a kind and humane gesture to make good on an otherwise woeful shot – an opportunity to correct. We believe that everyone deserves a mulligan and the support needed to rebuild their lives. Everyone wins when you give a Second Chance!
