At Operation New Hope, we believe that we are all better than our worst mistake, worst day, or worst decision. We believe in people’s ability to learn from their errors and transform their lives through commitment and hard work. For over 20 years, we have worked to build a stronger community by creating opportunities for people with a criminal history to realize second chances by reconnecting to the workforce and their families.

But we haven’t done it alone. We have been successful in helping over 8,000 people make the most of their second chances because of the generous support we receive from our community partners. To show our deep gratitude, we would like to spotlight one of our great Second Chance Supporters – Beaches Recovery. Beaches Recovery has been an excellent employment partner, hiring 27 of our Ready4Work clients since our first placement in 2016.

After graduating from our Ready4Work program 4 years ago, Tracey landed a job as a driver at Beaches Recovery and was quickly promoted to receptionist, then administrative assistant, followed by executive assistant. She now works as the Director of Operations for Tides Edge – the detox facility for Beaches Recovery. Read Tracey’s Voices of Hope story here.

Beaches Recovery Center is a 90-bed treatment facility located on the beautiful beaches of Jacksonville, Florida. They provide the highest level of care, giving patients the best possible resources to ensure successful rehabilitation. Beaches Recovery takes sobriety very seriously. Residents at Beaches Recovery work with a therapist to select the best clinical options for their individual needs. Their therapists adapt treatment to match the client’s culture, values, and interpersonal relationship patterns. They create a proactive, informed approach to rehabilitation and recovery. They offer Residential Drug Rehab, Extended Care, Transitional Living, Outpatient, College Drug Rehab, and Family programs. These programs exceed industry standards and provide the highest quality care to each person that comes to our facility.
