Operation New Hope extends our sincere thanks to the members of Beaches Rotaract for joining the growing list of Second Chance Supporters who believe we are all better than our worst day, worst decision, or worst mistake. Beaches Rotaract hosts an annual charity fundraiser and will donate proceeds from this year’s event to support our life-changing reentry programming. The group of young professionals have also dedicated their time to learn more about barriers people face after involvement with the criminal justice system and have volunteered to help serve our clients by providing them with “welcome home kits” complete with essential hygiene supplies.
As part of the family of Rotary International, Rotaract brings together young professionals to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. The Rotaract Club of Jacksonville’s Beaches (Beaches Rotaract) meets once to twice a month to engage in hands-on service projects, social activities, and professional development opportunities.
