A safe, stable place to call home can make all the difference for someone rebuilding their life after involvement with the justice system.
At Operation New Hope, we recognize that stable housing is foundational to health, employment, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. That’s why we partner with transitional housing providers in the communities we serve to give our clients a supportive environment where they can focus on moving forward.
*Transitional housing vendor applicants are responsible for the $26 cost of the required background check. If an alert is identified during the background check, applicants may incur up to an additional $29 in charges.
Participants in our Ready4Work, Ready4Success, and Ready4Change programs can access up to three months of transitional housing at any point during their year of services with Operation New Hope.
For some, returning to their previous living environment may mean returning to circumstances that make moving forward more difficult. Access to transitional housing provides another option: a safe and supportive environment where participants can focus on employment, training, health and well-being, financial stability, and building the routines needed for long-term independence.
With stable housing in place, participants have a stronger foundation to focus on:
Employment & Career Training • Health & Well-Being • Sobriety & Recovery • Financial Stability • Healthy Routines • Long-Term Independence
Stable housing can support an individual’s ability to maintain employment, access physical and mental healthcare, meet justice-system requirements, and successfully reintegrate into the community.
Transitional housing partners provide provide stability during one of the most important periods in an individual’s reentry journey.
By partnering with Operation New Hope, your organization can help create a supportive foundation from which individuals can pursue employment, strengthen their well-being, build independence, and work toward a future free from incarceration.
