Karen Holt is currently in a senior leadership role in the property/casualty insurance industry. She began working in insurance after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After spending several years in Atlanta, Karen, her husband and their two sons relocated to Jacksonville in 2004. Karen has worked with several organizations, including Dekalb County Humane Society, YES!Atlanta, North Druid Hills Child Development Center (Board Chair) and also supported North Florida Youth Soccer League.
Karen learned about Operation New Hope from Peter O’Brien and is a new member of the Board, joining ONH in 2019. In recent years, Karen has become increasingly aware of the need for change in the criminal justice system and especially the lack of options for those who are ready for a fresh start.
We provide support, life and job skills training for people affected by the criminal justice system and place them in employment that offers a sustainable quality of life.
