Alefia Landry

Vice President of Programs

Alefia Landry is a dedicated and accomplished leader with over two decades of experience in Education, Human Services, and Nonprofit Management. She joined Operation New Hope as Vice President of Programs in 2024, bringing her expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational transformation to the team. Alefia is deeply passionate about relationship building and providing impactful programming to serve individuals and families in need.

Alefia began her career in Education as a primary school teacher, then transitioned to administrative roles. Recognizing a critical need for early literacy development in Jacksonville’s urban core, she established a preschool program at a newly operating charter school, which quickly flourished. This success propelled her into school leadership, where she expanded her focus to include trauma-informed care, family engagement strategies, grant management, community engagement, stake-holder relations and positive behavior interventions.

In addition to her educational achievements, Alefia has successfully applied her leadership skills to nonprofit management, including guiding one of Florida’s largest homeless shelters through significant organizational change. Her proven ability to develop leaders, scale programs, and create lasting impact demonstrates her commitment to strengthening communities through collaboration and empowerment.

Alefia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management and has used her education to support numerous startups, schools, and nonprofits in achieving their missions. Originally from Panama City, Florida, Alefia now resides in Jacksonville with family.
