Caryn Seaborg

Director of Finance

Caryn Seaborg is an experienced and mission-driven leader with over 18 years of expertise in nonprofit finance, operations, and human resources. Before joining Operation New Hope, Caryn served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Specialized Treatment, Education and Prevention Services (STEPS), Inc., a behavioral health agency serving Central Florida. Over nearly two decades, she led initiatives focused on financial sustainability, compliance, grant management, and operational excellence in support of vulnerable and underserved populations.

Caryn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Everest University and is currently pursuing plans to obtain her master’s degree to further expand her impact in the nonprofit sector. As Director of Finance, Caryn is committed to building efficient, transparent systems that support organizational growth and ensure strong fiscal stewardship.

Originally from Schaumburg, Illinois, Caryn spent 25 years in Orlando before relocating to St. Augustine. She is a published author and wellness advocate who enjoys hiking, abstract painting, playing billiards and darts, and traveling. “I believe that purpose-driven work creates meaningful change; and I’m grateful to be part of a team that leads with both compassion and accountability.”
