Ready4Release Team Making an Impact

Our Ready4Release team is making an impact in our communities and being recognized for their efforts! We are so proud to highlight two of their recent recognitions:

  • Ronnie Cage our Ready4Release Program Manager was awarded Volunteer of the Month July 2023 by the Lawtey Correctional Institution. Ronnie has been facilitating the InsideOut Dads program to incarcerated fathers at Lawtey Correctional since October 2019 and volunteering there since November 2015. Ronnie’s 12 week-long fatherhood seminar is one of the most requested classes offered at the nation’s first Faith and Character Based facility. Way to go Ronnie – keep up the great work!

  •  Ryan “RJ” James, one of our Ready4Release Case Managers, was recently honored as the Summer 2023 Force for Good Award recipient by the University of St. Augustine. The award is presented to alumni or community partners who possess characteristics most supportive of the University’s mission and core values of integrity, innovation, responsiveness, support, and advocacy. Congratulations RJ!

Working in collaboration with the Department of Corrections, Operation New Hope delivers pre-release services to 30 facilities across Florida as part of our Statewide Reentry Network. Our dedicated Ready4Release team targets qualified inmates and presents Ready4Work program details.
