Turner Construction Helps Women Step Confidently Into the Workforce

Operation New Hope is incredibly grateful that Turner Construction continues to be a Second Chance Supporter, ensuring that the women enrolled in our programs have the tools and resources they need to succeed.

On March 7th, 2025, Turner generously donated 20 pairs of high-quality work boots, helping women feel more prepared to step into new career opportunities. This marks the third consecutive year that Turner Construction has chosen to support our organization through their donations.

At Operation New Hope, our Ready4Work program provides comprehensive job training, mental health support, and career development services to returning citizens, empowering them to find and retain meaningful employment. Many of our clients are eager to enter industries like construction, logistics, and skilled trades, but lack the proper work attire needed to get started. By providing durable, job-ready boots, Turner is removing one more obstacle and allowing these women to focus on building their futures with confidence.

During Turner Construction Florida’s visit to our Orlando program location, we were honored to also welcome City Commissioner Shaniqua “Shan” Rose of District Five, who joined us for a tour to see firsthand the impact of reentry support. Turner’s generosity extends beyond Orlando, as clients at our Tampa program location will also receive a donation of work boots.
