Florida’s Future: Operation New Hope’s Strategic 5-Year Plan

A Bold Vision for 2030-A Letter from CEO Reggie Fullwood

As we step into 2025, Operation New Hope (ONH) is embracing a new era of growth and transformation. With the recent approval of our strategic plan by the Board of Directors, we are poised to lead the charge toward a future where the impact of our mission is felt across the state of Florida. This new strategic direction reflects our unwavering commitment to expanding our ability to help people across the state by focusing more on prevention, intervention, and improving our core services. This new plan aligns us with a bold vision for 2030.

We have created new vision and mission statements that more closely align with this updated focus-

Our New Vision Statement:

Operation New Hope strengthens our community by empowering people to break the cycle of poverty and incarceration.

Our New Mission:

Operation New Hope provides support and training to people impacted by the justice system, connecting them to the workforce, their families, and communities.

5 Goals for 2030:

  1. Operation New Hope will expand prevention programs and services with the goal of significantly reducing the number of individuals that are affected by the justice system.
  2. 25% of all people released from Florida state prisons will be served by Operation New Hope.
  3. Operation New Hope will provide transition services in every Florida state prison.
  4. Operation New Hope’s post-release graduates will earn on average 20% above minimum wage.
  5. Recidivism of those released from the Florida state prisons will be less than 20%.

Looking Ahead:

As we embark on this ambitious journey, we are inspired by the belief that every individual deserves a second chance. We are committed to providing the services, support, and opportunities necessary for that second chance to become a reality. With these bold goals in place, Operation New Hope is ready to lead the charge toward a brighter, more just future for Florida—one where transformation is possible, hope is restored, and lives are rebuilt.

Thank you for your continued support as we work toward these transformative goals. Together, we can make a lasting difference for individuals, families, and communities across the state.

Thank you all,

Reggie Fullwood, President/CEO
