The 3rd Annual Hope Starts Here 5K returns to scenic Lake Baldwin in Orlando this September, and whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker, or enthusiastic volunteer, this event is for you. Enjoy a scenic course in the heart of Orlando and take meaningful steps to support your community.
This event benefits Operation New Hope, a Florida-based nonprofit that has helped thousands of individuals rebuild their lives after incarceration. For over 26 years, we’ve worked to break the cycle of poverty and incarceration by providing pathways to employment, family reunification, and community reintegration.
We believe no one should be defined by their worst mistake. That’s why funds raised from the Hope Starts Here 5K support critical services like career readiness training, mental health support, transitional housing, and job placement—all designed to help people become successful and self-sufficient after involvement with the criminal justice system.
