Second Chance Supporters- Turner Construction’s Generous Donation

Turner Construction team with hygiene kit supplies.

Every week, we welcome individuals back from jail and prison who enroll in our program with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Thank you, Turner Construction, for being a second chance supporter and providing our clients with Welcome Home Hygiene Kits. These kits contain essential hygiene products, including shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, and deodorant, which will help our clients feel clean and care for themselves as they start this new chapter of their lives.

Kiara Rucker, our Business and Community Engagement Manager in Orlando, says:

“Operation New Hope’s partnership with Turner Construction has been invaluable. Their generous provision of work boots and hygiene kits has made a tangible difference in the lives of our clients, empowering them towards a brighter future. Through this partnership, Turner Construction has demonstrated a commitment to not only building structures but also to building communities. Their support not only meets immediate needs but also fosters a sense of dignity and opportunity among those striving for a fresh start.”

Established in 1984, Turner’s Orlando office proudly serves the communities of Orlando, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Tallahassee. They have a strong presence in Central Florida and have established lasting relationships with subcontractors, clients, and vendors throughout the region.

Thanks again to the whole team at Turner Construction for supporting Second Chances and helping us in our mission to reconnect people to the workforce, their families, and our communities.
