Please join us in congratulating Operation New Hope’s Chief Operating Officer Sytisha Claycomb for earning her Ed.D. in Leadership from Spalding University. The primary focus of her research not only centered on the pervasive barriers that disproportionally affect Black women in the workplace, but it also examined the career progression and experiences of senior and executive-level Black women leaders within the for-profit and nonprofit sectors in the southern region of the United States.
With more than ten years’ experience leading and managing multifaceted organizations focused on young adults and marginalized populations. Dr. Claycomb oversees operations of our expanding statewide reentry network. As a new social scientist, she plans to utilize her technical skills to conduct research, add to the conversation about criminal justice reform and reentry, as well as implement new leadership strategies to guide her team in achieving operational excellence.
Congratulations on your achievement, Dr. Claycomb!
We provide support, life and job skills training for people affected by the criminal justice system and place them in employment that offers a sustainable quality of life.
