Thanks again to the whole team at Turner Construction for supporting Second Chances and helping us in our mission to reconnect people to the workforce, their families, and our communities. #HopeStartsHere

We extend our sincere thanks to Turner Construction for their generous donation of women’s work boots to our Ready4Work programs in Orlando and Jacksonville. Mimi Flatley, Community & Citizenship Manager for Turner Construction Orlando explained that the donation is in honor of International Women’s Day and Women in Construction Week.

“Every year, for the past 4 years, our employees have gotten together and donated new pairs of work boots because we don’t boots to barrier to entry into the construction field,” Mimi told the Ready4Work graduates in Jacksonville.  “No knock to the men – we’ll have to come back again and do this for men’s boots! We love what you do and love the stories!”
