CFO James Lee Completes Jim Moran Nonprofit Executive Program

Operation New Hope’s Chief Financial Officer James Lee recently completed the Jim Moran Institute For Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program. Focused on growth, leadership expertise, and financial success, the Nonprofit Executive Program examines business fundamentals, strategies, and best practices.

The mission of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship is to cultivate, train and inspire entrepreneurial leaders through world-class executive education, applied training, public recognition and leading-edge research. A 1995 contribution from Jim and Jan Moran and JM Family Enterprises established the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at the Florida State University College of Business with additional support through the years. Since 2011, further enhancements to the Jim Moran Institute and its outreach have been made possible by Jan Moran and The Jim Moran Foundation.

“The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program was a world-class learning experience,” said James after completing the training. “The program did a great job preparing us to look for and capitalize on business opportunities, implement best practice management, and turn challenges into strategic advantages. I’m thankful for this opportunity and grateful for the Jim Moran Foundation’s continued support of our mission.”

James previously served as the Chief Fiscal Officer at Elder Source, overseeing a $40 million budget for Northeast Florida. In this position, he managed the Fiscal and Programs Compliance Department with 19 staff members throughout 7 counties. He also worked as the Accountant Supervisor for the City of Jacksonville and Internal Auditor at the Jacksonville Electric Authority. James joined Operation New Hope as our Chief Financial Officer in the fall of 2022 and has been a great addition to the team.

We are excited for James to implement the skills he has learned from the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program. We look forward to the impact it will have on our organization as we continue to build a Statewide Reentry Network.
